Sending an SMS via email is designed to feel natural. All you need to do is follow these simple steps when composing your email.
Simple setup
Start by placing the phone number you want to reach in front of @transmitsms.com in the “To” field of a new email, from any webmail.
Custom Sender ID
The second step would be to decide whether or not you want to override the sender ID. You can keep your original sender ID by leaving the subject line blank.
Response Tracking
When you receive a reply, the conversations will start to build inside their own individual threads. Track responses within the email provider of your choice.
Additional Features
This X-Header feature is great for CRM systems and other types of integrations that use email to send out alerts, but don't want to use individual email addresses for standard email to SMS.
Only authorized emails can send to your contacts. There are no authorisation limits, as long as your message falls below the maximum SMS character count.
You have the option to receive delivery level reports for emails as well. Track your message delivery status, and receive more transparent messaging data.
Our email to SMS service is activated by the universal “to” field. This means that it’s readily compatible with your current webmail provider.
